Lalith Wasantha Silva Kaluperuma (born 25 June 1949, Colombo) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. He was educated at Nalanda College Colombo. He was recognised as a good off spinner in Sri Lankan domestic cricket before their elevation to Test status, which gave him a chance in the inaugural Test against England. However, Kaluperuma bowled 21 wicketless overs, followed by six wicketless overs in the next Test. It was evident that captain Duleep Mendis hardly had faith in him, and he never returned to international cricket. He also joined a tour of South Africa in 1982/83, which permanently stopped him playing international cricket. In 2003, he joined the board of national selectors in Sri Lanka, and two years later he was made chairman of this board.

Lalith is the 6th Sri Lanka Test Cap [Sri Lanka Vs England at Colombo 1981/82]
